There are many choices for coconut oil nowadays, and I’ve recently come across the Louana pure coconut oil on the market.
Coconut oil became very popular recently because of some findings about its nutritional value. Curious as I am, I did some research on the subject and found several interesting facts about this healthy oil.
Your Choice Of Oil
Apparently, there are two kinds of coconut oil commonly sold today: the refined and virgin coconut oils. The difference is primarily in the extraction process.

People generally prefer virgin coconut oil over refined because of its benefits. I use both of them, but I prefer using refined coconut oil because I don’t like having a faint coconut taste on everything I cook.
Whichever variety you choose, coconut oil is a healthy and natural alternative to other over-processed oils and shortening. In fact, it has been used for a long time in the popcorn industry, because its flavor perfectly complements the nutty taste of the corn kernels.
All-Around Healthy Oil
Aside from cooking, coconut oil is commonly used in health and beauty products such as lip balm and face moisturizer. I use Louana directly on my skin and I found it cures some skin problems; some even use it for acne as well as eczema.
If you are suffering from dandruff or hair loss, you can also use coconut oil in your hair since its enzymes work well as a hair vitamin. Virgin coconut oil can also be taken directly to improve digestion, with a recommended daily dose of 3.5 tablespoons.
